Just for you Onie

Cody talked to our friend Onie the other night and I got in trouble for the lack of blogging. So...here are four in a row! I will try to keep at it, but I said that last time. :)Lizzie's Grammie came over last weekend and taught Lizzie how to make an awesome dessert. Grammie got down on Lizzie's level so that she could see what was going on. Lizzie then tried to eat all of the evidence.

She was supposed to be sharing some with her mom and dad, but never made it all the way to us without eating it first. She will hopefully learn to cook better than her mommma!!!!

The Silver Lining

Many people keep asking how Cody likes staying at home with Lizzie every day. Well there is good in every situation. Cody and Lizzie have bonded like no other. Each day I come home to a happy husband and a cheerful child. She is learning so much from her daddy and she is attached at his hip.

They go to the park each day and ride bikes and even do yard work. Sometimes I come home to both of them still in their pajamas and other days I come home and they have run all of the errands.

Cody taught Lizzie how to slide at the park. She does it on her own now. When she gets to the top of the stairs she pushes her daddy away and does it all on her own.

She turned 18 months this week and is doing wonderful. She is talking tons and loves to talk on the phone. Her biggest word so far is elephant. It cracks me up that she can say that. She likes to whisper when she learns new words. She has even learned a couple that we wish that she didn't know like 'dang'. Our neighbor taught her that...I know that you all thought that it was Cody, but you are wrong. She learned it from our neighbor while playing slots! Yes...my child says 'dang' when she loses at slots. Imagine that!!!!!

Aunt Courtney's wedding

Cody's sister got married on Valentine's Day. She was a beautiful bride and it was a very fun day. I can't wait to get some better pictures since I did not take many, but I thought that I would share a couple of what I did get.
Miss Elizabeth was the cutest flower girl ever. She did make it down the aisle holding the hand of the other flower girl and she refused to look up. I think that she may be a little shy! I was the most prego bridesmaid ever and Cody was the proudest brother ever. We had lots of fun.

Lizzie ran around the reception hall and danced with her daddy as much as she could. She was very full of energy.
She ate all the candy that she could find with some help of others.
The weekend was a long one and Lizzie slept a lot the next day trying to make up for the night before. She will be a flower girl again in April. Here she is only 1 year old and already in weddings. Hopefully I will not cry this time when she walks up the aisle!

The Baby Room

We just recently started on the baby room. One Saturday morning my mom called and said she was on her way with paint to get it done. At first Lizzie and I were only allowed to peek through the door because no one wanted the three of us to be around the fumes.
After my mom left and Cody got tired of painting I was finally allowed to do some work in there as well. I am going to wait and post the final pictures later! There is still a lot to do.
