Labor Day weekend

Our weekend, like many, was packed full of fun. On Saturday we went to Carmine to the Riedel farm. Unfortunately, I left my camera at home. I have to get the pictures from MiMi (Janice) so that I can post them. I know that she got some of Lizzie and the cows.
On Sunday we went to Magnolia to go swimming with Luv!

We took the truck which means that Lizzie gets to sit really close to her little brother. She was holding his hand.

When we got in, it was sunny....then the clouds came!

And the rain. Liz thought that it was cool that she was swimming in the rain.

She got to befriend a great dane. I know that she is around dogs everyday, but I still was shocked that she didn't care how big that puppy was!

Luv loves my babies. If I could only get her to change a diaper or two...I might just leave them with her one weekend. :)

Rain, rain, go away...

Yesterday it poured the entire drive from my parents house to our house. Once we made it home it was just a light drizzle. On the drive home Lizzie watched out the window saying 'raining' the whole time and when it would thunder, she said 'funder.' She doesn't like funder at all! It finally reached a point, as we were doing 30 mph down the road, when she started to say 'home.' She already knows that it is safer to be at home when it is like that. We made it home and she went to the window to watch the rain with her daddy. I had to capture this on camera. Cody decided to get comfy and put his foot on the windowsill and of course, Lizzie had to try it too! Cody and I both laughed as she realized that she was caught!

Potty training is going good. She is collecting stickers for each time that she makes it to the potty and we have a goal. Mommy promised her a Build a Bear against Daddy's will.

Wesley is awesome. He is a great sleeper and a very happy baby. He smiles and giggles way more than Lizzie did. He is getting so strong. I cannot believe that he will be 4 months old next week. Where has the time gone? Maybe it is time to start thinking about baby #3 coming along! :) I am just joking. We will wait a little while.

An evening with Pecan

Lizzie has began to love our flying squirrel and wants to play with her when we take her out of the cage. She wants Pecan to crawl down her shirt like she does to Cody so we thought that this would be blog worthy since it doesn't look like she is enjoying this at all. We were all sitting in the dining room and she wanted to play with Pecan. When Pecan went down her shirt...Cody caught this on camera. We told her before hand that she couldn't scream, but we didn't say that she couldn't cry. She seemed to not like it much and then....

after all the crying was over, she pulled her shirt out AGAIN so that the squirrel could go down her shirt again. She is amazing.

She loves our little pet, but I think that she would rather have a dog like a normal family!

Just for Luv!!!!

Last Sunday we started putting the kids in the bath together. It has been wonderful. Wesley likes to watch Lizzie play and Lizzie hasn't complained much yet. The only bad thing is that Lizzie can't lay down and swim like she normally does. We will see just how long it takes to make her mad!

When I said that I wouldn't post pics of Cody or he would kill me...well, I will for Luv. Luv is a nickname for our friend Jennifer. She asked for it and I delivered. My husband is such a good daddy to play dress up with his baby.

I promise that he didn't put this on himself. Lizzie was putting it on him, except for the earrings. I think that he put them on himself. We had to explain to her that the skirt wouldn't fit him. I don't think that he would make a cute girl at all...THANK GOD!!!!!

Luv, let me know what is for dinner! :) I am as bad as Cody. We will do anything for you if you cook for us!
